Ongoing role for Mott MacDonald at Felixstowe

Mott MacDonald is playing an ongoing role in a project to help manage and protect the coast of Felixstowe in the UK from coastal erosion. The client for the project is Suffolk Coastal District Council. The well known management, engineering and development consultancy is designing 18 straight rock groynes (hydraulic structures that interrupt water flow and limit the movement of sediment) with associated shingle and sand recharge which replenishes the beach, makina it hiaher and wider.
