Safehaven brings self-righting SAR boat to Seawork

Safehaven marine is exhibiting a self-righting pilot/rescue vessel on the floating pontoon at Seawork 2012. It is based on Safehaven's successful Interceptor 38 pilot, four of which have just been delivered to the Azores Islands. The Interceptor Pilot/SAR vessel has been designed for multiple operational roles of pilotage, patrol and search & rescue. It is with regard to the latter respect, that the design is self-righting.
