Specialist shipping, rail and logistics fi rm MytonLaw has advised a UK boat builder on a vessel buildand export contract with an Irish fi shing companyworth over GB£3m.Parkol Marine Engineering’s 27m trawler order isthe first boat the company has ever constructed forexport. Parkol has boatyards in Whitby andMiddlesbrough, and the vessel build atMiddlesbrough is already underway with completionexpected by April 2021.Sally Atkinson, director of Parkol MarineEngineering, said: “Winning this export deal was animportant milestone for our company. Now that wehave this export experience under our belts, we aimto win more business overseas and have anotherbuild for export in the pipeline.”
