'Kaapstad'is a double-hull, type C, inland tanker built in accordance to the Rules and Regulations of Lloyd's Register of Shipping. The hull has been built under survey by Lloyd's by Ceske Lodenice shipyard in Czech. A shipyard well-known for building of quality hulls. Euromaritime Shipbuilding is the main contractor of the shipbuilding project and has contracted Shipyard den Breejen for the outfitting and finishing works.
