Droste Elektro B.V. was responsible for the electrical installation of the 'Don Amado', where Breda based company Remat delivered the fire detection system from the brand Eltek. The article about the advanced Eltek fire detection systems in our April edition, pages 12-14, wrongfully could insinuate that the current distributor of Eltek fire detection systems, Theunissen Technical Trading B.V., performed the delivery andrncommissioning for this system onboard the Don Amado. Previously, the Eltek brand was represented in the Dutch maritime market by Hertek and, in the recent past, by Remat. Since 2009, Theunissen Technical Trading B.V. has become the exclusive distributor for Eltek fire detection systems in the Dutch maritime market. Theunissen Technical Trading B.V. apologises for any misconceptions which could follow from the fore mentioned article.
