HMC SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLS SHELL'S PERDIDO TOPSIDES

Heerema Marine Contractors (HMC) has completed installation of the 9,500 t topsides and living quarters atop the floating Spar of the Shell Perdido project. The installation took place at a water depth of almost 2,500 meters in the Gulf of Mexico. HMC's Thialf is one of only two vessels in the world capable of lifting the 9,500 t topsides.
