Dutch Delegation Headed By Minister Eurlings Visit Brazil

From February 28th until March 9th 2009 a group of 13 Dutch maritime companies will visit Brazil. They are part of an economic mission of the Ministry of Transport, Public works and Water Management, headed by Minister Eurlings. The group will visit several shipyards and ship owners in Itajaf, Porto Alegre, Rio de Janeiro & Niteroi, and Recife. Itajai is considered the second most important shipbuilding place in Brazil. The number one position is covered by Rio de Janeiro that forms, together with Niterof, the hart of the Brazilian shipbuilding industry.
