The Place to be: Singapore since the 50's

In the early part of the 1950's, Radio Holland had a small establishment on the island of Singapore servicing mainly Dutch vessels for Koninklijke Paketvaart Maatschappij (KPM) & Java China Paketvaart Lijnen (JCPL), engaging in retrofitting and replacing transmitting equipment to meet the latest international requirements. The shipping activities in Singapore grew, and seeing an increase in business volume, Radio Holland decided to expand its operation by establishing a company, Radio Holland BV, Singapore on 17 October 1957 in Singapore.
