The Dutch superyacht yard builds a mix of full custom yachts and very successful semi-custom series: with a predefined exterior profile, engine room and systems, owners can fully customize the interior within the fixed aluminium boundaries. For the hull design, Heesen's in-house naval architects collaborated with the hydrodynamicists at Van Oossanen & Associates, using both CFD calculations and towing tank tests. The result is a hard-chine hull with excellent semi-displacement characteristics.
