New LNG carrier for Anthony Veder

Rotterdam based shipping company Anthony Veder recently ordered a new LNG (liquified natural gas) carrier from German shipyard Meyer Werft to progress in the company goal to further develop the small scale LNG market. This vessel will be the second small scale LNG carrier with double the capacity of the first LNG carrier 'Coral Methane' and will expand its fleet of 21 gas tankers. The ship will have a length of 156 m, a breadth of 22.7 m and a cargo capacity of 15,600 cbm. The vessel will be able to run on the low emission LNG fuel and will be classed within the highest environmental norms.
