Oil lubricates Rotterdam results

Crude oil appears to be the medicine for the Rotterdam port. It contributed to the results in the sector liquid bulk with 9.6% in the past six months of this year. The total port throughput in that period rose with 3.2% to 221.8 tonnes. "A 3.2% growth is a good start for the remainder of this year", commented Port of Rotterdam Authority CEO Hans Smits while presenting the six years results, adding that the real results reflect the performance of the port industry.
