First order of new custom-series Moonen Shipyards

A new custom-series of 24-metre motoryachts will be built by Moonen Shipyards in cooperation with designer Nick Mezas. Moonen Shipyards developed a new semi-series in response to the yard's client seeking. The motor yachts in this new series will be available in the sizes of 18, 20 and 24 metres length. With the new series, Moonen Shipyards wants to appeal to a new group of younger customers, handling a lower price and smaller size that is enhanced by a different design than one would normally see on a Moonen yacht. The first order of a 24-metre yacht confirms that it has been a good choice. The yacht will be fitted with Volvo IPS propulsion and have a top speed of 22 knots. Moreover, the IPS configuration leaves lots of space free in the forward section for four cabins. An open-plan layout in the saloon/wheelhouse area will enhance the social aspect of the yacht, which is likely to be helmed by the owner and his friends and family.
