Successful introduction day for minor oil & gas students

On Friday 6th September, 21 higher professional education (hbo) students, who just started the minor oil & gas study at the Maritime Campus Netherlands at Den Helder, participated in an offshore safety introduction training at DHTC. This tailor-made offshore safety introduction training involved both a morning and an afternoon programme.In the morning, the students followed a brief course concerning the safety aspects of the offshore industry at the Kooypunt location. After this theory session, the students got the opportunity to tackle several fires with a range of handheld fire extinguishers.
