Wagenborg will support NAM offshore

NAM, the Dutch Petroleum Association, has chosen Wagenborg to support their offshore operations for the coming ten years and on 11 July 2013 a cooperation agreement was signed. Wagenborg has commissioned Niestern Sander Delfzijl to build a ship for the activities: the Walk-to-Work Vessel, a unique vessel that is going to play a crucial part in maintaining and servicing the production platforms of NAM in the North Sea. The 79 metre long and 16 metre broad vessel will be delivered early 2015 and represents a great boost for employment in Groningen. The coming 18 months, about 80 people work on the vessel at shipyard Niestern Sander and also a great amount of suppliers and subcontractors from the region are involved in the project.
