For many years now Parker Hannifin is active in the market for marine propulsion and partnering with their customers to increase their productivity and profitability. With a broad range of technologies like hydraulics, electro mechanics, sealing and filtration parker is able to supply a complete scope of functions. Since one year Kittiwake is also part of the Parker family. For the thruster market this means that Parker is now able to deliver a condition monitoring system to prevent on-board failure on a thruster. This monitoring system sees and hears all small differences in the thruster, months before a possible breakdown. Therefore this prevents a catastrophic breakdown costing thousands of Euros for the end-customer.
