New director for KIVI NIRIA

Micaela dos Ramos has been appointed as the new director of the Royal Institute of Engineers KIVI NIRIA. She succeeds Piet Gilissen and will focus on the transition project KIVI NIRIA 3.0. "With Micaela, we found someone who will put KIVI NIRIA further on the map as a professional organisation of engineers and technical students, besides promoting the importance of of technics for our society", states Martin van Pernis, president of KIVI NIRIA. Dos Ramos achieved her propaedeutic Chemical Technology at the Technical University in Delft and her doctoral Chemistry at the University of Amsterdam.
