Ard-Jan Kooren Port Personality of the Year 2012

On Monday, 14 January 2013, Kotug International president-director Ard-Jan Kooren was awarded Port Personality of the Year 2012. He is the 32nd entrepreneur in a row to receive the distinction, succeeding inland shipping entrepreneur Gerard Deen, who received the award for the year 2011. The festive honouring took place on the Smaragd I in the presence of 120 guests, including the mayor of Rotterdam Ahmed Aboutaleb, Rotterdam port alderman Jeannette Baljeu, CEO of the Port of Rotterdam Hans Smits and most of the former Port Personalities.
