Rotterdam develops an European hub for re-export and bunkering of Liquid Natural Gas (LNG). The Gate import terminal, a joint venture between Gasunie and Vopak that opened in 2011, provides an excellent basis to achieve this. The ambition is to work with as many parties as possible to create a complete, sustainable supply chain for LNG. On multiple fronts, preparations are being made and the correct working conditions are being implemented.
