Cooperation between Damen and Natuurmonumenten

Damen Shipyards Group and the Vereniging Natuurmonumenten (in English: Society for preservation of nature monuments in the Netherlands) will be working together on the development of a sustainable ferryboat between Nieuwendijk and the island Tiengemeten in the Haringvliet. The current ferry is to be replaced soon, as it is old and sails on diesel.
