Constructing amidst birds and geese

Wetterskip Fryslan, the body of surveyors of dykes in the Dutch province of Frisia, gave the assignment for the enhancement in the scope of the Dutch Hoogwaterbescher-mingsprogramma (in English: flood protection programme) to consortium Van den Herik - Jansma. This programme contains the testing of every Dutch dyke once every six years to see if they will withstand the new forecasted water levels in the future.
