Alewijnse Marine equipment For British offshore wind farm construction

For GeoSea, DEME's water engineering specialist, Alewijnse built two similar QA Bolt Tension Logging systems that have been used in the installation of 56 wind turbines at the Galloper Offshore Wind Farm off the east coast of England. Alewijnse Marine successfully delivered two QA Bolt Tension Logging systems that played an important role in the high-precision installation process for the wind turbines. The systems ensured that each of the 128 large M72 bolts that secure each monopile to its transition piece was fixed at the correct tension and torque.
