Distribution and Source of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) in the Surface Seawater of the Western Xiamen Harbor

摘要

The concentration of PAHs in the surface seawater of the western Xiamen Harbor has been analyzed in the paper. The PAHs concentration at 9 station locations varies greatly within the range of 106.1ng/L￣ 4365ng/L. But PAHs pollution is slight as compared with that in similar areas in other parts of the world. PAHs stem mainly from oil pollution, urban and industrial discharges and combustion of flues.
