Over the next five years, millions of dollars will be spent on developing new ferry routes as a means of alleviating traffic congestion along major urban highways. More than $300 million, for example, has been set aside for new ferries and terminal construction under a federal grant program for publicly operat- ed ferry services, and private operators continue to invest in new services. Much of this new development will be discussed at Marine Log's FERRIES 2007 Conference and Trade Show, scheduled for November 5-7,2007 at the Delray Beach Marriott in Delray Beach, Fla. Now in its 20th year, the FERRIES Conference series has become the place to hear from and network with some of the most prestigious and well-respected names in the industry.
