Kvichak to deliver more MPF's

Kvichak Marine Industries, Seattle, Wash., is currently building four 40 ft MPF utility boats for the U.S. Navy. The high-speed landing craft replace the Navy's existing LCM-8 craft as part of the Improved Navy Lighterage System in support of pre-positioned Marine Amphibious assaultrnmissions. These four craft were ordered following the delivery of 10 MPF utility boats to the Navy earlier this vear.
