These aren't the ordinary pirates, they are far more deadly. Seawater, rain, snow, ice, salt and even sand are boarding your ship via the air intakes and are at risk of spreading through the whole ship via the ventilation ducts. The engine rooms, the crew spaces, the passenger spaces and staterooms are no longer pristine but potential breeding grounds for moulds and bacteria. Not only the soft furnishings are at risk; slowly but surely, every piece of sensitive equipment is degraded by this invasion. It even affects the crew and passenger health.
