Located in the Amazon estuary, Esta-leiro Rio Maguari, Belem, Brazil, builds barges and self-propelled vessels, such as tugs and to wboats, ferries and fishing vessels. One of its most recent deliveries is the Stefano Locks, a 4,000 hp Z-drive harbor tug for Hermasa Navega-cao da Amazonia S.A. , which operates a fleet of 21 barges and four push-boats and harbor tugs. Hermasa Navegacao is part of soy bean producer Hermasa, which exported over 2.7 million tons of soy in 2007.
