Advanced Polymer Coatings' MarineLine 784 cargo tank coating system is being increasingly specified as the tank cargo coating in tanker retrofit applications. A key reason is the rising demand to carry biofuels. MarineLine 784 is especially well suited to meet the demanding and potentially corrosive problems that can develop with biofuel cargoes. The polymer-based coating uses a forced hot- air heat cure to create a nearly-impermeable coating barrier, thus ensuring product purity, and protecting the cargo tank. Once the application and heat cure are completed, a ship can carry any approved cargo immediately after leaving the shipyard.
