SENERTO CREATE FINITE ELEMENT MODELS FOR MURUETA SHIPYARD

Engineering and technology group Sener has been hired by Murueta Shipyard to create finite element models of two sectional dredges with a load capacity of 1,500 m3 and 2,600 m3, respectively. Sener will analyze the structures' navigation with a wave of 120 degrees out of phase and from the bow. Additionally, the ship's behavior will be studied in both sagging and hogging conditions, as well as torsion stresses with waves from bulwark and quarter.
