As a proud member of the CLS Group, Horizon Marine, Inc. (HMI) provides data-driven metocean analysis to improve situational awareness, reduce downtime, protect the environment, and enhance safety. Using state-of-the-art technologies to acquire, forecast and analyze metocean data, we assess the progression of oceanographic and wind features that can impact transit or pose hazards to equipment, personnel and the environment. HMI offers an integrated routing and weather forecasting package in support of ocean-going vessels. RouteWatch® is a comprehensive, multi-faceted product designed to increase transit efficiency, provide situational awareness, and mitigate risk during vessel/asset reloca- tion projects. RouteWatch analysts leverage global metocean datasets, proprietary EddyWatch® data and analysis, maritime safety information, nautical charts, IMO regulatory boundaries, traffic density profiles, and other appropriate products to recommend route adjustments that engage ocean currents more favorably while standing safely off from adverse weather, navigation hazards, and threats to shipping.
