ABB introduces MXP, its dedicated auxiliary engine turbocharger

ABB turbocharging introduced its first dedicated turbocharger for marine auxiliary engine applications at the CIMAC Congress earlier this summer. Developed in cooperation with IHI Corporation, the Marine Auxiliary Power (MXP) turbocharger is designed for ease of operation and service and supports a condition-based maintenance concept. MXP will be produced in at least three frame sizes and will be commercially available in early 2017.
