HELLESPONT APPOINTMENTS

Phrixos Papachristidis has been appointed Chairman of the Executive Board and Managing Director of Hellespont AG & Co KG, the parent company of the German-based Hellespont ship management and marine services group. His appointment follows the recent resignation of Christian von Oldershausen, who had been CEO since 2007. Papachristidis was born in London and educated in the UK. He worked for Poten & Partners in New York after graduating from New York University. In 2007, he joined the family business, serving in various functions in the Group. His most recent position was Managing Director of Hellespont Tankers, manager of the newly formed Seatramp IntermediaternTanker Pool.
