Ship operators are today struggling with a raft of bunker-related challenges, including high fuel costs, volatile quality, product availability and increasingly stricter environmental regulations. To cope with these challenges, DNV Petroleum Services (DNVPS) has recognised the need for ship operators to have better access to accurate bunker information; whether it is for choosing the most reliable bunkering port or supplier, or attempting cost-savings through more efficient fuel use.
