ROLLS-ROYCE COMPLETES MORE CARRIER EQUIPMENT

Rolls-royce has completed the latest components in the power and propulsion system it is supplying for the HMS Queen Elizabeth and HMS Prince of Wales. The final batch of Michell thrust blocks and lineshaft bearings, which will support the rotating shafts that drive the ships' pro-pellers, were handed over in a ceremony at the Rolls-Royce facility in Newcastle.
