Although he is coming to the end of his term as chairman for the International Association of Classification Societies (IACS), Roberto Cazzulo continues to push forward with his agenda for greater transparency and integration with the industry. Cazzulo has striven to leave his mark since taking on the position from Lloyd's Register's Tom Boardley in June 2013 -aware that he will hand over responsibilities to his successor (Bureau Veritas' Philippe Donche-Gay) in July. "It's a shortlived role and I'm actually the only one who has printed business cards specifically for my title as IACS chairman," he quips, with his characteristic brand of humour.
