The American Association of Candy Technologists (AACT), Fine Chocolate Industry Association (FCIA), National Confectioners Association (NCA), Professional Manufacturing Confectioners Association (PMCA) and Retail Confectioners International (RCI) have coordinated sponsorship of an upcnming chocolate regulatory update and panel discusssion webinar. NCA's Debra Miller and Paige Schmoyer will discuss allergen labeling, regulation of acrylamide and heavy metals under California's Proposition 65, added sugar poli- cies, bioengineered food standard disclosures, international food labeling practices and the impact of COVID-19 on chocolate production. Following the presentation, a panel will answer questions submitted by registrants prior to the event. The panel will include Brad Kintzer, Tcho; Marlene Stauffer, Blommer Chocolate Co.; Jeff Smith, Peterbrooke Chocolatier, and Irena Miles, Jelly Belly Candy Co.
