摘要

The last issue of Management Research contained three papers in the organizational behavior area. This issue is dedicated to human resource management topics and includes one conceptual paper and two empirical studies, carried out with Spanish companies. In the first paper, Gergana Markova uses the resource based view as a theoretical anchor to conceptually elaborate about the relationship between human resource information systems and firm competitiveness, and applies the concept of dynamic capabilities to the HR literature, for its role in fostering codification and dissemination of path-dependent organizational processes allowing the firm to repeat its successes, while recognizing the likely danger of diminished organizational flexibility necessary for competitiveness in a dynamic environment.
