摘要

Tenacity increases as the drawing of POY takes place and also there is further increase with increase in draw ratio in case of draw twisted and draw textured yarn. This is due to orientation-induced crystallization. The elongation of draw twisted yarn decreases with higher spinning speed for POY drawn under indentical conditions. This can be attributed to difference in elongation% of feed yarn (POY). In case of draw texturised yarn the elongation was maintained constant by optimizing draw ratio.
