PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for draw false-twist texturing a polyester multi-filament yarn, capable of decreasing damage to the yarn as much as possible, simultaneously capable of thermally setting the yarn at a lower temperature than that in conventional methods, making the yarn stably travel, and further avoiding the fluctuation of the point at which the yarn is drawn, when the yarn is textured at a taking-up speed of at least 1000 m/min. ;SOLUTION: This high-speed draw false-twist texturing method comprises draw false-twist texturing a polyester multi-filament yarn at a taking-up speed of at least 1000 m/min, wherein a heater positioned on the upstream of the texturing device has such an internal structure that plural guides are arranged to regulate the traveling of the yarn and to prevent the yarn from directly contacting with the heater, and the above yarn-traveling regulation guides simultaneously satisfy the following requisites: (a) one guide (A) among the yarn-traveling regulation guides contacts with the yarn in a contact length of 5-20 mm; and (b) the other guides (B) of the yarn- traveling regulation guides contact with the yarn in a contact length of at longest 2 mm.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
