MYSQL -VS- POSTGRESQL

Which database do I use: MySQL or PostgreSQL? This question has plagued deuelopers for a couple of years at least. Both databases haue their fanatics, but what about the neuibie mho wants an easy answer to the question, and those mho know better, but still haue uoyeuristic tendencies for this sort of thing. I use commercial databases for comparison, but I mill not be entangled in a long-minded discussion of the merits of Open Source and proprietary software. Too much has been written about that topic, and it didn't sound like a lot of fun to me. I mill focus on the features you haue come to expect in a database.
