Sjaastad quits Frontline

Bjorn Sjaastad, chief executive officer of Frontline Management, has resigned for "family reasons". Sjaastad had been commuting between his home in Bergen and Frontline's offices in Oslo but will now move back to Bergen. The Frontline board issued a statement thanking Sjaastad for his work streamlining the organisation into "a top professional tanker company". With Sjaastad due to leave the company before the end of June, Frontline had already started the recruitment process as LSM went to press.
