摘要

The 21st century is characterised by the very rapid development of light sources, lumin-aires and light management systems. In city centres, there are more and more buildings that are illuminated with the use of modern technologies. Such lighting allows us to make any building look unique at night. It gets buildings out from the shadows at night, often showing them in a completely different way than by day. Development of LED technology as well as drivers using digital data transmission protocols has permitted us to change lighting over time. The application of light colour, seamless colour temperature adjustment or dynamic lighting makes it possible to catch the attention of people, and hence lets them admire the work of the architect or lighting designer.
