Besal Fund Announces Scholarship Recipients

The Besal Lighting Education Fund has announced the selection of 13 scholarship recipients forthe 2017/2018 academicyear. The scholarships to be awarded total $60,000 and will be shared among eight undergraduate and five graduate students seeking degrees related to lighting design. Undergraduate recipients include Kaitlyn McConnell (University of Colorado at Boulder), Tucker Rayl (University of Kansas), Trevyn Sell, Heather Randolph, Whitney Luck, Danielle Porter, Darci Kern (Kansas State University) and Riley Johnson (University of Nebraska), and graduate students Arpan Guha, Samantha Anderson, Nick Garaycochea, Matt Healy (University of Nebraska, Lincoln and Omaha campuses) and Simon Diederich (University of Kansas).
