New Rotterdam depot opens its doors

ROTTERDAM operator RET (Rotterdamse Elek-trische Tram) held an open day at its new Bever-waard tram depot for local residents on 15 August. The depot is the first guided by the TramStore21 project to officially open. TramStore21 is a European Union co-funded collaboration to develop sustainable and efficient tram depots and encourage best practice with the construction of four such sites in Rotterdam, Blackpool, Brussels and Dijon.
