Sutton presents Tramlink extension plan to TfL

Plans for the proposed new London Tramlink route have been presented to Transport for London by Sutton Council. The UK line would run through Morden to Sutton. Transport Minister Norman Baker attended a launch of the project with local business leaders and gave his backing; TramForward, the campaigning arm of the Light Rail Transit Association, has also given its support.
