Many people will have heard the term Web 2.0 mashup (not to be confused with the musical mashups where two or more songs are blended together), but never given much thought to what a mashup was or how one might enhance a library service. Like the musical mashup, a web mashup is a web resource that uses two or more sources to create a new page or application mashing the data together.
