Beth "buffy" galloway, director of the Grayhead Public Library, fancied herself a prize director with an equally impressive senior staff. Her door was always open to any staff members wanting to voice their opinions. Assistant Director Arthur Gilday and the facility's most senior librarian, Claire Matzen, often commented on how broad-minded and nurturing Galloway was. She was lauded for her caring nature at the numerous parties she'd attended in recent years as staffers retired. Being so open-minded, she let her crew participate in a new evaluation process developed by the state library that asked staff to critique their bosses' management capabilities and the library's services anonymously.
