摘要

Curmudgeonly retired DJ Rex Page (Ernest Borgnine), a man who, according to his daughter, "hates everyone," is recovering in a nursing home following a back injury. The home is operated by a doctor of questionable ethics and owned by a villainous senior citizen but staffed largely by Latinos who are far more loving, patient, and attentive than Rex deserves. When the staff discover that Rex once shook the hand of Vincente Fernandez, a Mexican entertainment star (and a real person), he becomes their favorite.
