Frantic owing to the demands of work and family, Maribeth Klein almost doesn't bother to head to the emergency room when she starts having chest pains. Even when she learns she's had a heart attack, she's more worried about her immediate responsibilities, and it gets no better when she returns home. As husband Jason seems to disengage, putting in long hours at his start-up, Maribeth combs lice from the children's hair and feels that nobody cares. So she packs her bag and leaves.
