What appeals to you about the fantasy genre? I was drawn to fantasy from a very early age. It's the sheer number of possibilities fantasy stands for, the endless creativity, the lack of boundaries, and the chance to let your imagination run wild. Where some genres can be confined by the real world, fantasy allows authors and readers to explore the impossible. These are not just tall tales of dragons and fortresses and warriors; at the heart of fantasy there can be rich, relatable human stories and strong social themes. It may be a strange and warped mirror, removed from reality, but we can still find ourselves reflected in it, and that's why so many people are enthralled by the genre, including me.
