'At scale' author name matching with Hadoop/MapReduce

摘要

We have developed two hadoop-based person/context extraction tools for processing two different formats of structured bibliographic metadata. These tools generate semantic graphs very much like those produced by a prototype tool we developed to validate some assumptions about how we might tackle this problem, a just-in-time identity visualization tool (Powell, n.d.) for Worldcat's identity service.
